2009 (Junior): Started all 11 games for the Hawks at defensive end... Had his best season to date, with career-highs in tackles, sacks and tackles-for-a-loss... Finished fourth on the team in total tackles with 47 takedowns... Led the Hawks in sacks with 4.0, which was seventh in the Northeast Conference... Registered a team-high 10.0 tackles-for-a-loss of 67 yards, which was 10th among NEC defensive players... Stared the season out with a career-high nine tackles against Colgate (9/5)... 2008 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 11 games and started in one at defensive line… Finished the season with 11 tackles, 7 being unassisted stops, three sacks, a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry… Had two tackles, including an unassisted tackle against Rhode Island (8/30) and Maine (9/6)… Also had a sack against the Rams… Had a sack and a solo stop against Bryant (9/20)… Recovered a fumble for the Hawks against Albany (11/1)… Had a tackle, a sack and hurried the quarterback against Duquesne (11/15).
2007 (Freshman): Played in all 10 games as a freshman, appearing on the defensive line... Served as the team’s short snapper on PATs and field goals... Finished with three tackles on the season, all coming against Wagner (10/13).
High School: Played three varsity seasons under coach Chris Olsen at Wayne Hills High School... Helped the Patriots to back-to-back undefeated State Championship seasons... Ranked as the 79th recruit in New Jersey by the McCarthy Report... Finished his senior season with 18 sacks, setting a new school record... Also owns the school record for sacks in a game with five... Registered 88 tackles as a senior and 85 takedowns as a junior... Was named First Team All-State, All-North Jersey and All-Area... Finished varsity career with 40 sacks, 229 tackles, three blocked kicks, 15 batted passes and four forced fumbles... Also earned First Team All-County and First Team All-league honors.
