2007 (Freshman): Did not see action as a true freshman.

High School: Earned four varsity letters in football playing linebacker and running back at Pascack Hills High School... Helped the Cowboys to a 7-3 record as a senior... Led Pascack Hills to the state playoffs as a junior and a senior... Compiled 303 tackles and seven interceptions as a linebacker... Rushed for 568 yards and 14 touchdowns as a running back... Was an honorable mention All-NBIL selection in basketball... Also was a four-year varsity  member of the Cowboys' baseball team. 

Personal: Born on June 13, 1986... Son of John and Patricia Avento... Major is criminal justice.
