Former University of Georgia and Colorado State quarterback Faton Bauta joined Monmouth in the Spring of 2018 in the offensive quality control role.
Bauta brings with him collegiate football playing experience at the highest level, including spending four seasons in the Southeastern Conference. Prior to arriving at West Long Branch, he coached at the Prince Avenue Christian School in Athens, GA.
In his role at Monmouth, Bauta will assist in on-campus recruiting efforts such as junior day. Bauta will aid in camp and practice organization as well as video breakdown and analysation. He will also help with skill specific drills with Monmouth's quarterbacks and wide receivers.
Buata was both a four-time Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll selection and an Academic All-Mountain West honoree in 2016. He graduated from Georgia in 2015 with a 3.1 grade point average and went on to earn a Master's degree from CSU in 2017 with a 3.5 GPA.
