Evan Rugel joined the Monmouth University football staff as Video Coordinator in March of 2014.

In his role with Monmouth Football, Rugel will be in charge of assembling a staff to film each practice and game from multiple angles. His primary role includes managing that film, cutting it up with the DVSport system that the Monmouth coaching staff uses on a daily basis and handling the film exchange.

Prior to coming to Monmouth, Rugel held the video coordinator intern position with Fordham University's football program. With the Rams he planned and coordinated all filming of football practices and both home and away contests. In addition to breaking down film for the coaching staff, Rugel assisted in creating promotional highlight tapes for recruiting and motivational use.

The Spring Valley, N.Y. native held a game-day operations position with the National Football League, specifically leading up to and during Super Bowl XLVIII in East Rutherford, N.J. In that position Rugel assisted in building operations, sale of tickets, merchandise and apparel and helped in pre-planning events around the Super Bowl.

Rugel graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia with a degree in sports management in May of 2013. While at Fredonia he held a operations internship in which he assisted in the staging of all Blue Devil Athletics. He also helped market Fredonia Athletics and uploaded post-game documents to the official athletics website.
