A native of nearby Ocean Township, Dana Webster is in his first year as a mentor in the Personnel and Leadership Services (PALS) program.
Webster is also serving his second season as an undergraduate student assistant on the Monmouth University coaching staff. He was a former player for the Hawks before assuming his student assistant coaching duties in 2005.
Webster was three-year letterwinner at Ocean Township (N.J.) High School, where he played running back, defensive back and kicker for Coach Scott Larkin. He was tabbed first-team All-Shore Conference and second-team All-Shore and All-Monmouth County on two occasions, while helping the squad to a 2000 Central Jersey III state title. Webster logged over 1,600 yards and 17 TDs during his career. He also logged 20 receptions for 45 yards and eight TDs, while being named Player of the Year by Jersey Sports News in 2000.
