Connor Heil joined the Hawks in the role of defensive quality control in August of 2021.
With the Hawks Heil is responsible for assisting in the development of the defensive backs, helping construct weekly practice and game plans with the defensive staff and has a large role in the cutting, uploading and creating offensive tendency reports using DVSport.
Prior to his time in West Long Branch Heil spent two seasons at The College Of New Jersey coaching the running backs. While with the Lions he had three NJAC Rookie of the Week selections, oversaw all defensive scout team duties and used Hudl for the team's video needs. He also spent time at Central Regional High School working with the freshman and junior varsity football teams. He also serve as the Football Director at Goodsports USA in Wall, NJ where he was responsible for organizing football clinics for youth and high school players.
He is a 2016 graduate of Rutgers.
