Kathleen Kelly is in her fourth season as assistant coach for the Hawks. Kelly is responsible for mentoring Monmouth's defenders and goalkeepers.
Kelly arrived at Monmouth after enjoying an illustrious playing career at Princeton University. A four-year starter for the Tigers, Kelly earned first-team All-Ivy League honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. During her senior season, she earned second-team All-America honors and captained the Tigers to an NCAA Final Four appearance. In 1996, Kelly led Princeton to the NCAA championship game and earned first-team Regional All-America honors as a sophomore. She led the Tigers to NCAA tournament appearances in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. Kelly, a three-time Academic All-Ivy and Academic All-America honoree, graduated with a psychology degree in 1998.
In 1997, Kelly was selected to the United States Under-21 national squad.
