Frequently Asked Questions

What is new about the registration system?
Monmouth camps has a new home through Ryzer.  Registrants are encouraged to create an account through Ryzer so registration for multiple camps is quick and easy, while also being able to keep up-to-date with any future events that a Monmouth team might host.

Can I still mail in my registration?
The easiest way to register for summer camp is through the online portal.  In efforts to stay PCI compliant, the department will no longer accept credit cards that are mailed or transmitted into the office.  Walk registration (if accpted through each camp) will need to be check only.  Checks must be made out to "Monmouth University".

Do I still need to fill out the Medical Information? Does it need to be signed by a doctor?
The medical form, which does not need to be signed by a doctor, is part of the online registration process.  Walk-up campers will not be allowed to participate without turning in the documentation during check-in.

Can I use sign up using multiple discounts?
No, only one discount can be applied for each camper and cannot be combined with any other offer.  The highest discount will be applied.

My child can only go for a few days, can the price be prorated?
Unfortunately, camps are not prorated as numbers dictate staff required to be hired and the ordering of lunches.

Is lunch provided?
A majority of the camps visit the University's dining hall for lunch.  It will be indicated if a particular does or does not offer lunch.

Do campers go swimming?
Some camps do offer swimming for an hour at the indoor pool inside Boylan Gym.

What happens if there is inclement weather?
Proper accommodations will be made if weather arises.  If there is any changes, an alert via e-mail and/or text will be sent out.
