Rules:

  • The game shall be played between 2 teams of 4 players each. Three players are required to avoid a forfeit.
  • The captain winning the coin toss shall select offense, defense, direction, or defer their choice to the second half.
  • The ball shall be placed at the offensive side 20 yard line.
  • The Offensive team must have at least 1 player on the line of scrimmage.
  • The Offensive team runner cannot advance the ball through the line of scrimmage. There must be a legal forward pass each down. The receiver must touch the ball beyond the offensive line of scrimmage.
  • The offense has 7 seconds to release the ball on a forward pass. If no pass is thrown within 7 seconds it is a loss of down. The referee will sound his/her whistle at 7 seconds if no pass is thrown and it will count just like an incomplete pass.
  • All normal 10 yard penalties are 5 yards and all 5 yard penalties are 3 yards.
  • Playing time shall be two 10 minute halves with a running clock until the last minute of the game. Each team is entitled to one time-out per game.
  • A new series of downs is only awarded in the case of defensive penalties such as pass interference, roughing the passer and unsportsmanlike conduct.
