-Finished fifth in the MAAC in rebounding

-Totaled eight games with double-digit rebounds
-Grabbed nine rebounds in win over Lehigh (11/16)
-Pulled in 10 rebounds in win at St. Joe’s (11/20)

-The 19 boards against Siena were the most for a Hawk in 30 years dating to 1992

2020-21 (Junior): Played in 19 games, starting eight… Led Hawks with 15 blocks… Finished second on the team in rebounding… Had nine points and six rebounds in win over Saint Peter’s (12/18)… Netted 10 on 4-6 shooting vs. Canisius (12/27)… Grabbed seven boards at Siena (1/3)… Collected nine rebounds vs. Quinnipiac (1/15)… Had 12 and six in win at Niagara (1/29)… Picked up 11 rebounds at Manhattan (2/6).

2019-20 (Sophomore): Played in 26 games, starting five… Led MU with 51.4% field goal percentage… Tied for third on Hawks with 110 total rebounds… Topped Hawks with 23 blocked shots… Ranked ninth in MAAC in blocked shots per game… Marked 15^th in conference in offensive rebounding… First career double-figure game came at Hofstra with 10 points to go with seven rebounds and two blocks (11/9)… Added nine points, six rebounds vs. Iona (1/5)… Followed that with a seven point, six rebound contest against Canisius (1/10)… Notched first career double-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds on 5-7 shooting in win over Rider (2/2)… Grabbed eight boards at Fairfield (2/4)… Had nine points, five caroms in beating Quinnipiac (2/23).

2018-19 (Freshman): Played in 24 games as a true freshman, starting five… Notched 17 minutes in collegiate debut vs. Lehigh, scoring four points and collecting three rebounds (11/6)… Had four points and four rebounds vs. #13 West Virginia (11/15)… Added six points, all from the foul line, against Cal State Fullerton (11/18)… Added five points, five rebounds vs. Yale (12/20)… Had five points against Fairfield (1/17).

HIGH SCHOOL: Rutty, a New Rochelle, NY native, is a 6'8", 225 pound right-handed forward that played scholastically for the Pride of Trinity-Pawling School and played his AAU basketball with the PSA Cardinals. He averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds and three assists per game. The forward earned All-Tristate Second Team honors in addition to All New England Honorable Mention. As a junior, Rutty posted nine games with double digit rebounds, highlighted by a 19-rebound game against Taft and a 16-rebound night vs. Hotchkiss in the next game. He also posted 11 rebounds and five blocks against Berkshire.
