Monmouth's returning kicker... Named to the College Football Performance Awards Preseason Watch List for the third straight season.

2012 (Junior): Started all ten games for MU… Led the Hawks in scoring with 70 points… Moved into first place all-time at Monmouth during 2012 season in field goals attempted and field goals made… Set Monmouth single-season record with 34 PAT kicks made… Converted on 12-of-16 field goals, including a long of 43… Made 34-of-35 extra points… Finished second in the conference in field goals made… Was a perfect 5-5 on PAT’s twice, both against Rhode Island on 9/8 and Wagner, while also knocking home a 41 yard field goal in win over Wagner (9/15)…  Hit from 43 yards out in regular season finale triumph over Robert Morris (11/17)… Named to 2013 Northeast Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Selected to Capital One Academic All-District II Team.

2011 (Sophomore): Started all 11 games as a sophomore... Finished second on the team in scoring with 60 points... Converted nine of 12 field goals, including a long of 42 yards... Connected on 33 of 35 extra points... Kicked a season-long 42 yard field goal against Bryant (10/15)... Had a 41 yard field goal in a win over Central Connecticut State (9/24)... Was a perfect 21-21 on extra points through the first eight games of the season... Registered eight points in three different contests... Also handled kickoff duties for the team, averaging 55.3 yards per kickoff... Named to NEC Academic Honor Roll and Commissioner's team.

2010 (Freshman): Started all 11 games as a true freshman, setting Monmouth's single-season record for field goals made with 16... Led the team in scoring with 72 points... Started the season by converting seven straight field goals... Led the Northeast Conference in successful field goals... Was three-for-three on field goals against Maine (9/11), including a 37 yarder... Accounted for 11 points against the Black Bears... Converted a season-long field goal of 46 yards against Saint Francis (10/23)... Converted 24 of 29 extra points on the season... Registered 14 points on five extra points and three field goals against Duquesne (10/12)... His 22 field goals attempted is the fifth most in school history... Averaged 51.7 yards per kickoff in 2010.

High School: Kicked and punted under coaches Greg Lacava and Mike MacArthur at Colts Neck High School... Earned Third Team All-Shore honors in 2009, averaging 40 yards per punt... Earned First Team All-Division and First Team All-Shore Conference as a junior punter... Connected on 7-of-9 field goals as a sophomore with a long of 47... Earned Second Team All-Shore and All-Area as a place kicker in 2007.

Personal: Son of Patrick and Catherine Spillane... Major is criminal justice.
