Biography

Has one season of eligibility after transferring from Hofstra... Slated to start at center for the Hawks in 2010. 

Before Monmouth: Played center and guard for the Pride... Saw action in all 11 games as a junior, starting the final seven games of the season at right guard... Played in all 11 games as a sophomore, making one start... Started first collegiate game against Rhode Island as a redshirt freshman in 2007... Earned a spot on the Hofstra Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Played four years of football under coach Dan Gregory at Hanover Park High School... Named to all-county and all-group teams, and was a two-time all-area and a three-time All-Iron Hills Conference selection... Tallied 69 tackles and 11 sacks on defense... Also wrestled for four years and was a three-time all-conference selection, a district champion, a Morris County finalist and ranked sixth in the state for the three-time sectional and conference champions.

Personal: Son of Joe and Judy Ottaiano... Majoring in business management.
