MAAC Offensive Player of the Week: 9/26/17
2017 (Senior): Enjoyed a breakout senior campaign, playing in all 19 games, earning the starting nod in 17 games… Scored twice in the opening weekend in victories at Bucknell (8/25) and against Kent State (8/27)… Connected on a three shots at William & Mary (9/10)… Found the back of the cage twice in the win over Drexel (9/22)…Tabbed as the league's offensive player of the week following the win over the Dragons... Registered the Hawks’ lone goal in the setback at Fairfield (10/6)… Scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the road win at Hofstra (10/8)… Posted a pair of goals in the big victory over LIU Brooklyn (10/13)…Notched three points on a goal and an assist in the win at Siena (10/20).
2016 (Junior): Saw action in 14 games, earning four starts… Started and scored her first career goal in the win at Lehigh (8/28)… Registered what proved to be the game-winning goal in the win over Lafayette (9/2)… Earned the starting job in victories over Georgetown (9/4), and Kent St. (9/9) and the set back against No. 19 Iowa (9/10)… Recorded a pair of shots on goal against Siena (10/7)… Registered a career-best four points on a goal and two assists in the victory at LIU Brooklyn (10/9).
2015 (Sophomore): Played in 17 games, earning the starting job in 10 contests… Recorded shots against Lehigh (9/4), Villanova (9/6), at Lafayette (9/11), and vs. Fairfield (11/6) in the MAAC Championship Semifinals… Recorded a season-high three shots, two attempts reaching cage, in the MAAC Regular Season Championship clinching game at Bryant (11/1).
2014 (Freshman): Saw action in 11 games for the Blue and White… Made collegiate debut at No. 17 Old Dominion (9/14)… Added a spark off the bench in games against Northeastern (9/19), Davidson (9/21), Cornell (9/28), No. 20 Michigan State (10/4), Villanova (10/5), Penn (10/9), Rutgers (10/12), Rider (10/17), Sacred Heart (10/19) and Siena (10/31).
High School: Competed for the Royals of Holy Redeemer High School… Named to the All-State Second Team in 2014.. Tabbed to the field hockey All-Star squad… Also lettered in swimming and track.
Personal: Daughter of Bernie and Mary Kusakavitch.... Majoring in health studies... Member of the Air Force ROTC program... Will commission into the Air Force following graduation.
