Smart defender with good body positioning... Will add leadership in the backfield... Great defensive stick and natural instincts to make the play.
2009 (Sophomore): Played in all 18 games, starting 14 of them on defense... Fnished the season with 12 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers... Her 11 caused turnovers was fifth on the team.
2008 (Freshman): Played in 18 games as a freshman, starting 10 of them on the Hawk defense... Made first career start in MU win over Quinnipiac (3/22)... Finished the season with 10 ground balls and two caused turnovers... Had a career-high three ground balls and a caused turnover against Robert Morris (4/13)... Started on defense in the NEC Semifinals.
High School: Three sport standout in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse... Named MVP of her lacrosse team twice...
Earned a spot on the All-County Second Team twice and also given an All-County Honorable Mention... Compiled 29 goals, 27 ground balls and 25 draw controls her senior season... Honored with a Sportsmanship Award (lacrosse) and Most Improved Player Awards (soccer and basketball) throughout her career.
Personal: Daughter of Dickie and Carole Hawkins... Born on March 12, 1989... Majoring in mathematics.
