Biography
2009-10 (Graduate): Indoor: Won the women's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.25 and was a part of the first place sprint med team with a time of 4:33.09 at the Inaugural MAC Classic... Placed third in the hurdles with a time of 9.06 and ran in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:03.85 at the Princeton New Year Invitational... Placed eighth overall (9.14) in the hurdles at the Metro Coaches Invitaional... Led the hurdle crew with a sixth place finish in the 55 meter hurdles (8.36) at the Great Dane Classic... Placed seventh in the 500 m running a time of 1:19.65 and second in the 60 m hurdles with a time of 8.92 at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational... Finished with a time of 8.98, earning a fourth place finish in the 60 meter hurdles and placed seventh in the 500 meter dash (1:21.25) at the NEC Indoor Championships... Crossed the finish line in the exact qualifying standard for the 60 meter hurdles (8.84) to finish second overall and earned a trip to the ECAC Championships at the NYU Fastrack Invitational... Competed in the 60m hurdles at the ECAC's Outdoor: Led the Hawks hurdle trio in the 400 meter hurdles as she finished third overall (1:06.52) and finished second in the 100 meter hurdles in 15.65 at the 15th annual MU season opener... Part of shuttle hurdles team that posted a time record-breaking time of 60.47 en route to a 12th place finish at the Penn Relays... Finished the 100 meter hurdles in third place (14.91) and won the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.71 earning All-NEC First-Team honors and was a part of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished third in 3:57.53.
2005-09 @ Georgetown (Freshman-Senior): Member of the 2007 Big East Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship team... Part of 2007 ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championship team.
High School: Named six time All-Shore in indoor and outdoor track... Was five time All-State from 2003-05... Named All-American in the 400 meter hurdles in 2004... Holds record for 400 hurdles for Group III in 2004... Captain of both track teams for three years... Also a four year letterwinner in varsity... Named Outstanding Senior Athlete in 2005.
Personal: Daughter of Evelyn Brown... Born Sonya Sheree Sullivan on November 7th, 1987... Received bachelors degree in Criminal Science at Georgetown... Working for masters in Criminal Justice-Homeland Security.
