2008-09 (Freshman): Indoor: Shot put mark of 35' 3 1/4" was third in the event at Jasper Invitational... Placed seventh in the weight throw at the NYC Gotham Cup... Took third in the weight throw (48' ¾") and fourth in the shot put (39' 3 ¼") at Penn State Nationals... Finished third in the weight throw with a distance of 50' 11 ½" - setting the MU freshman record and also fourth in the shot put, with a distance of 39' 2 ½" at Princeton Open...Finished in fourth place at her first NEC Championship with a toss of 48' 2 ¼"... Finished sixth in shot put with marks of 39' 5 at the NYU Fastrack Invitational Outdoor: Throw of 38' 7" in the shot put was sixth and also finished ninth in hammer at Georgia Relays... Qualified for the U.S. Junior National Championships with her third place throw of 159' 2" in the hammer at the 2009 Moravian Greyhound Invitational... Took fourth in the shot put at the Greyhound Classic.... Won the hammer with a throw of 169'10 and finished second in the shot put with her mark 39'73/4 at the Lehigh Games... Named Road Runner Sports Rookie of the week 4.28... Finished 21st in the women's hammer with a mark of 144' 5 ¼" in the US Junior National Championships in Oregon
