Three-time starter at punter... Two-time All-Northeast Conference performer... One of the top returning punters in the nation... Expected to garner attention as a candidate for national honors... Enters final season with 40.6 yard punt average, just shy of Darrell Nick's career record of 40.7.
2005 (Junior): Ranked second in the Northeast Conference in punting with a 39.6 yard average... Landed 17 out of 44 punts inside the 20-yard line... Played in nine games on the season... Uncorked four punts for a 46.2 yard average, including a long of 51 yards, in win over Stony Brook... Unleashed seven punts for a 43.1 yard average, including a season-long of 68 yards in loss to Wagner... Booked three punts for a 44.3 yard average, including a long of 57 yards in loss to St. Francis (Pa.)... Finished season with eight punts for a 42.6 yard average and long of 56 in win over Albany.
2004 (Sophomore): First-team All-NEC at punter... Named to the NCAA I-AA All-Atlantic Region third team... Earned second-team Don Hansen Football Gazette Mid-Major All-American honors? Compiled a 40.1 yard average... Ranked first in NEC with a 39.9 average in conference games... Blasted a 79-yard punt against Sacred Heart, the second longest in Monmouth history.
2003 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games for the Hawks as a punter.. Ranked 13th in the nation in punting with 41.6 yard average... 41.6 yard average ranks second on Hawks' single-season list... Set school record with 70 punts on the year... Set Monmouth and NEC record with an 84-yard punt against Central Connecticut State... Also had a 70-yard punt in win at La Salle... Set MU's single-game record with 48.4 yard average on seven punts in loss to CCSU... Named NEC Special Teams Player of the Week following win over Robert Morris in which he averaged 43.4 yards per punt.
High School: Three-year letterwinner at Holy Cross High School in Delran, N.J... Played wide receiver and punter for Coach Tom Maderia... Helped guide team to a combined 26-8 record during his three seasons, including a Parochial Group IV state title in 2000... Named first-team all-conference twice... Tabbed first-team all-county and third-team All-Parochial as a senior... Averaged 44.5 yards per punt in 2002.
