2021-22 (Fifth Year Senior):
-Second Team All-MAAC selection after finishing fifth in the league in scoring and second on the Hawks
-MAAC All-Tournament Team selection
-Posted 5.8 rebounds per game, second on MU and 15th in the MAAC
-Also ranked sixth in the conference in blocks and 15th in field goal percentage
-Led Monmouth in blocks with 32
-Scored in double figures in 29 of 34 games
-One of three Hawks to start all 34 contests
-Opened MU career with 23 points at Charlotte, going 9-17 from the field with seven rebounds (11/9)
-Added 19 and seven in win over Lehigh (11/16)
-Notched a double-double in impressive A10 win at Saint Joseph’s, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds (11/20)
-Exploded for 24 on 7-13 shooting and 9-11 from the foul line at Canisius (12/5)
-Posted 16 points, nine rebounds in win at Yale (12/14)
-Scored season-high 26 points on 9-12 shooting and made three triples against Hofstra (12/22)
-Finished with 22 points and made 11 field goals against Iona (1/18)
-Had back-to-back games in double figures with nine rebounds against Niagara and Fairfield (1/30, 2/4)
-Scored 22 in victory over Quinnipiac (2/6)
-Added 15 points including 11 free throws against Saint Peter’s in MAAC Finals (3/12).
BEFORE MONMOUTH: Miller comes to Monmouth for his final season as a graduate transfer from the University of North Carolina. Miller played in 65 games in four seasons for the Tar Heels, scoring 32 points and grabbing 28 rebounds. Last season, Miller won the Marvin Williams Carolina Way Award, an award presented to the Tar Heel who best exemplifies playing hard, being unselfish and thinking of his team first. Miller stands at 6'11 and 235 pounds, and was named UNC's Defensive Player of the Game in 2020 at Louisville. Prior to his time in Chapel Hill, Miller played at New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire, where he was an All-Region selection and a team captain. He helped New Hampton to a state title and was also an honor student.
PERSONAL: Son of Ken Miller and Gail Boulton… Enrolled in graduate school… brother, Wes, is currently head coach at University of Cincinnati.
