WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Four meets highlight the 2026 Monmouth University fall rowing schedule released by head coach
TJ Scarpa.
Scarpa, who is in his first season with the Hawks, welcomes back 32 letter winners from a year ago including All-CAA performer
Alyssa Taylor.
"The team is unified and cohesive in their pursuits, ready to take on a highly competitive fall season of racing," said Scarpa. "We have set the tone for a very productive campaign with an exceptional first month of building, both fitness and a sense of community. This group fully understands the work it will take to get them where they want to be, and they are very much up for the task at hand to accomplish it. This fall will be a great test for us to see how far we've come, how much further we will need to go, and provide us the chance to compete against both the top teams in our conference, and across the nation."
Â
The Hawks will open up the fall by competing at the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia on Sunday, Oct. 11. Monmouth will be back at the event for the first time since the 2024-25 season after last year's event was canceled for weather.
Â
On Oct. 17, the Hawks will head north to take part in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. Monmouth's 4+ boat was successful enough last year to earn an invite to this year's race.
Â
The following weekend, the Hawks will return to Philadelphia to take part in the Head of the Shuylkill (Oct. 24). The freshman/novice 4+ boat has medaled at this event in each of the last two seasons.Â
Â
The fall slate wraps up with some local competition as the Hawks take part in the Princeton 3-Mile Chase on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Â
The spring schedule will be released at a later date.
