West Long Branch, NJ — The Monmouth Hawks thrived in the classroom this past year.
Among the 22 varsity programs, 21 earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better with the overall team GPA for the semester totaling a 3.47 for the spring and 3.48 cumulative.
Men's Tennis touted the highest overall GPA both for the spring semester and cumulative, landing a 3.88 and 3.85, respectively. Their 3.88 this spring was the highest GPA ever recorded at Monmouth for any team.
They were followed by women's golf which tallied a 3.80 this semester to boost its cumulative to a 3.78. The 3.80 for the team tied for the program's highest GPA ever.
Additionally, 107 Hawks landed on Dean's List this past spring, while 454 student-athletes sustained a cumulative average of a 3.0 or better with 268 achieving a 3.5 and 15 holding a perfect 4.0.
