WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ. - One week after being recognized for the best single-year APR performance in program history, Monmouth athletics continued its academic success.

The Coastal Athletic Association had 70 teams across 20 sports earn NCAA Public Recognition Awards, presented to programs with multiyear Academic Progress Rates ranking in the top 10 percent nationally in their respective sports. The NCAA's APR is a team-based metric that accounts for the eligibility, retention, and graduation of each student-athlete, providing a real-time measure of academic progress.

The Hawks had five programs honored: men's basketball, men's golf, women's golf, women's lacrosse, and softball.
