WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - A total of 51 Monmouth University junior and senior student-athletes were named to the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

The seniors honored will receive an official medallion to wear at commencement.

Monmouth has served as a charter member since the society's inception in 2004. Chi Alpha Sigma is the first national scholar-athlete society to honor those collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition. Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes college student-athletes who receive a varsity letter in their sport, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fourth full-time semester, and earn a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.
