• Monmouth concludes its three-game road swing Tuesday night at Syracuse. Tipoff is slated for 9 p.m., and the game will air nationally on ACC Network.
• Despite holding a seven-point lead at the halftime break, the Hawks dropped a 70-58 decision to Seton Hall Thursday evening at the Prudential Center in Newark.
• Stefanos Spartalis poured in 16 points for the second time in three games. The freshman also went 9-of-10 from the charity stripe against the Pirates.
• Jack Collins scored 11 first-half points on three 3-pointers. The senior finished with 13 points and five rebounds, marking the first time this season he reached double-digit points.
• As a unit, the Hawks recorded shooting splits of 52.2 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from beyond the arc and 75 percent from the charity stripe in the first half against Seton Hall.
