Buies Creek, NC – Monmouth University Men's Basketball was defeated Saturday by Campbell University at Gore Arena, 81-58, to split the CAA road weekend.
Madison Durr led Monmouth with 18 points.

With Monmouth leading by one early in the second half, Campbell used a 19-5 run to take control. A 6-0 push from the Hawks midway through the half had the deficit down to seven, but a 19-6 stretch for the Fighting Camels made it a 20-point margin.

Monmouth used a 9-0 run in the first half to take a 22-13 lead, capped by an
Andrew Ball three pointer. Campbell answered with a 10-0 run to take the lead that
Abdi Bashir Jr. halted with a triple, ultimately sending the teams to the intermission tied at 27.
