Woodcock Named Associate AD for NCAA Compliance

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Robert Woodcock has been named the Associate Athletics Director for NCAA Compliance at Monmouth University by Jennifer Sansevero, the Director of Athletics.
 
"We are thrilled to have Robert join us," said Christina Diaz, Monmouth's Senior Associate AD/SWA. "Robert has a wealth of experience that will continue to propel Monmouth Athletics forward. He has made positive impacts at each institution and I'm looking forward to the work we get to do together."

"I would like to thank Jennifer Sansevero, Christina Diaz and the entire search committee for entrusting me with this tremendous opportunity. I am thrilled to work with an outstanding group of coaches, student-athletes, and administrators, and will work each day to put those individuals at the forefront of our operation."
 
Woodcock joins the Hawks from Rider University where he spent the last year as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Internal Operations. In that role he served as the chief compliance and academic officer and maintained oversight of all NCAA legislation.  Woodcock authored Rider's Name, Image & Likeness policy and the student-athlete handbook.
 
Woodcock was a member of Rider's senior leadership team and oversaw six full-time employees. He served as a sport supervisor for baseball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's cross country and track and field, supporting men's soccer to a 2023 MAAC Championship. Woodcock also supervised athletics facilities and was the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the Athletics Department. 
 
Woodcock spent three years at Tarleton State University where he served first as the Director of Athletic Compliance before being promoted to the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance. There he helped certify student-athletes term-by-term, oversaw Academic Progress Rate and the Academic Performance Census. Woodcock helped supervise NCAA legislative relief waivers and audited the transfer packet process.
 
Woodcock has also spent time as an athletic academic coordinator at Grand Canyon University and Montana State University. He got his career started as an academic mentor at UCLA. 
 
Woodcock earned his bachelors degree in communication from Purdue University in 2016 where he also lettered in baseball. He received a masters degree in sport management from the University of San Francisco in 2018.
