Leicht Adds Three Talented Players to 2024-25 Roster

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University men's tennis head coach Chris Leicht has announced the addition of three new student-athletes to the program for the upcoming fall semester, Jakob Bonnett, Louis Keller and Sasha Vysochenko. 
 
"I am very excited to welcome in the three members of our 2024 recruiting class," said Leicht. These men will be great Hawks, both on and off the court!"
 
Jakob Bonnett 
Class: Freshman
Height: 6'1"
Hometown: Oundle, United Kingdom
Previous School: Prince Williams School
 
Before Monmouth
  • Earned 17 wins on the International Tennis Federation junior circuit during the 2023 campaign
  • Won back-to-back singles and doubles Northamptonshire Junior County Championships.
  • Was an ITF Liverpool J30 Finalist.
  • Promoted and stayed in the Division I Summer County Cup with Northamptonshire.
  • Two-time Junior National Club League Finalist with Sutton Coldfield.

  • Top 5 in Ukrainian rankings for U12
  • Topped the Ukrainian rankings for U14
  • Won the singles competition and was a runner up in the doubles competition for the All-Ukrainian qualifying competition for U14.
  • Winner in the singles draw for the Tennis Europe Tennis Park Cup for U14.
  • Was a quarterfinalist in singles at the Tennispark Cup for U16.
