MONMOUTH GOLF ANNOUNCES STAFF CHANGES

February 08, 2024

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Athletics has announced that Head Women's Golf Coach Mark Bryson will now serve as the Director of Golf, with oversight of both the men's and women's programs, while Andrew DeYoung will join the men's golf program as an assistant coach.

Bryson is in his second season as the Head Women's Golf Coach at Monmouth, a position he was named to in July 2022. He has helped usher MU Women's Golf into the CAA, and led two Hawks to individual tournament victories in his first year in addition to winning a pair of home events. Bryson will directly oversee both the men's and women's golf programs.

DeYoung joins the men's golf coaching staff as an assistant coach, and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program. Previously, DeYoung served as the Lead Assistant Golf Professional at Deal Golf and Country Club and also spent time at Lost Tree Club, The Ridgewood Country Club, Milwaukee Country Club and Egypt Valley Country Club. He joins a men's program that will compete in five tournaments this spring, including its second ever CAA Championships in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina.

The men's and women's spring schedules both kick off on March 8 at the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL.
