-This is the third meeting all time between Monmouth and Wichita State
-Both prior games were part of in-season tournaments (1993 - Cessna Classic, 2007 - Paradise Jam)
-MU defeated Wichita State in 2007 at the Paradise Jam in the US Virgin Islands, 59-50, getting 17 points apiece from Jhamar

-Bashir's 38 points are tied for the 10th most in a game in school history.
-The 38 points from Bashir is the second most in a game by a Hawk under King Rice (Justin Robinson, 40 at Siena, 2/13/17).
-Madison Durr scored in double figures for the fourth straight game to open the season, scoring a season-high 17 points.
