KENSINGTON, CT – Monmouth University Men's Golf opened the 2023-24 season at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Intercollegiate, placing in 14^th in the 17-team field. Two MU freshmen, Alex Menges and Luke Schaal, made their collegiate debuts.
 
Sophomore Ethan Lee led Monmouth on the weekend alongside Menges, with both finishing T66 and both going 78-75. Sophomore Alex Dalmau and senior Travis Dix were one shot back of that in 73^rd, while Schaal rounded out the MU lineup on the weekend.
 
NOTES

-Alex Menges and Luke Schaal made their collegiate debuts.
-Lee and Menges both shot 75 in the second round, tied for MU's low round of the tournament.
-Every Hawk improved or shot the same as their opening round in the second round.
-As a team, MU shot 311 in each round.
-Monmouth finished in 14^th place of 17 teams.

-Monmouth competes in the Matthews Auto Intercollegiate at the Links at Hiawatha in Landing Apalachin, NY on October 1-2.
