3^rd Varsity 8: Monmouth 4 of 6
 
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - The Monmouth University women's rowing team made its first appearance at the CAA Championships on Friday morning at Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Monmouth competed in the 3^rd Varsity 8 race against Northeastern, Drexel, Delaware, UConn and Eastern Michigan. The Hawks turned in a fourth-place finish with a time of 8:06.269, five seconds behind third-place Delaware. Northeastern took the top spot in the event, followed by Drexel.

Marissa McKenzie was the first Hawk ever named to the 2023 All-CAA Rowing Team.
