OCEAN VIEW, NJ – Monmouth University Men's Golf finished fourth in a seven-team field at the South Jersey Spring Kickoff this weekend, while
Travis Dix finished third and
Erik Stevens fifth for the Blue and White.
The Hawks tied Hofstra for fourth place in the seven-team field, posting a final round 298 that was the second best in the field.
Travis Dix led after the opening round, ultimately placing third in the 50-player field.
Erik Stevens shot 72 in the second round, a 10-shot improvement from his opening round, to post the best score of the weekend by any individual and rank fifth in the field.
Freshman
Ethan Lee took eight shots off his opening round to rank T23, while
Colt Ingram was T26 with a final round 74. Alex Dalmau was 12 shots better in Round Two, placing T38.
