WEST POINT, NY – The Monmouth University women's tennis team battled hard but fell 4-0 to Army West Point on Saturday morning.
The match was played as a clinch (first to four) as the Army women had a second match on Saturday.
The second doubles team of
Lana Brezanin and
Jordyn Pax was down just 4-3 but that match was abandoned when Army secured the doubles point with wins at first and third doubles.
Hana McKinney had taken the first set at second singles in a tiebreaker and Brezanin was leading in the second set at fourth singles but both matches were abandoned as Army clinched the match with wins at first, fifth and sixth singles.
