LITTLE SILVER, NJ – The Monmouth University men's tennis team wrapped up its Saturday night doubleheader with a victory, defeating Rider 6-1 at Little Silver Tennis Club.
The latter match of a doubleheader, Monmouth earned five of the six singles points and won three straight doubles matches over Rider. Monmouth defeated Holy Cross in the first match, by an identical score, to secure the sweep.
The team improved to 4-1 on the season after both wins. The Hawks are perfect against the Broncs all-time with 15 wins in 15 matches.
