WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ - Monmouth University Head Football Coach Kevin Callahan has announced the signing of 19 student-athletes during the early signing period on Wednesday.

"As we look ahead to year three in the Coastal Athletic Association, we focused on bringing in a talented class of student-athletes who will excel on the field against the tremendous competition we see on a weekly basis," Callahan said. "This class has exceptional athletes on offense and defense, addresses the needs we identified as a coaching staff, and we look forward developing them when they arrive on campus. Our coaches did a great job of identifying very gifted high school players and transfer student-athletes who are high-character people who will make an impact on our program."

The class includes 17 players who signed National Letters of Intent and two transfers. Monmouth will be utilizing the next few months to evaluate and potentially sign more players prior to the February signing day.
