WEST ORANGE, NJ – Monmouth University Men's Golf wrapped up its fall competition this week, finishing sixth at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate at Montclair Golf Club in West Orange, NJ. Colt Ingram placed 10^th for Monmouth individually.
 
Ingram fired 74-75 to place 10^th, leading the Hawks on the week. Ethan Lee posted 77-75, while Colin McCullagh reversed that with 75-77 to each place T17. Travis Dix was in the 70's in both of his rounds, including opening with 74 to rank 23^rd, while freshman Alex Menges opened with 76 en route to a 39^th-place marker.
 
Competing as individuals, freshman Luke Schaal posted impressive numbers, shooting even par in the final round to place eighth individually. Alex Dalmau also competed as an individual.
 
As a team, Monmouth shot 299-306 in the two rounds, finishing tied for sixth with Adelphi and three shots out of fifth, while coming just six shots behind the tournament winner, Saint Peter's.
 
NOTES

-Schaal's 72 was one of just seven second-round scores to come in at par or better.
-Ingram was the best in the MU lineup, finishing in the top-10.
-Schaal's 72 was the best score for a Hawk, while Dix and Ingram both posted 74's inside the lineup.
-Monmouth shot inside 300 with an opening round 299.
-The Hawks placed tied for sixth in the 11-team field.
