BETHLEHEM, PA – Monmouth University Men's Golf opened with a strong first round, eventually placing ninth in the 13-team Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley CC this weekend. Junior Colt Ingram placed 20^th after shooting even par in the opening round.
 
Ingram sat in fifth individually after the opening round, firing even-par 72 before finishing with 79 to rank 20^th in the field. Freshman Alex Menges went 76-78 to tie for 35^th, while Ethan Lee opened with 74 en route to a 38^th-place marker. Colin McCullagh placed T45 with an opening 75, while Travis Dix closed with 76 to round out the MU lineup.
 
As a team, MU opened with a 297 before shooting 314 in the final round to place tied for ninth. Monmouth was in third as a group after the opening round.
 
NOTES

-Colt Ingram posted Monmouth's low round of the weekend with an even par 72.
-MU was in third place after shooting inside 300 in the opening round.
-The Hawks finished ninth in the 13-team field.
-Host Lehigh won the event after shooting 285 in the final round.
