NOTES & QUOTES
"We ran into a really good North Carolina team. They are well coached, excellent in so many areas of the game and they have so many veteran players. I am disappointed that the season is over for us, but I am happy for the season we had in this environment. I am proud of everything we accomplished and how hard we fought today through the end of the game."
"Coming into the game I think we felt we had to play a clean game with how lethal they are on the offensive end. We did play really good defense at times and it is disappointing they put up the number of goals they did, but it is complex. All things are connected, some of the things that happened on the offensive end led to easy goals for them. There were some times when we just didn't finish the play and a good team (North Carolina) made us pay. I thought we got better as the game went on and adjusted a bit to the speed of the game."
