SPRINGFIELD, PA – Erik Stevens (Annandale, NJ/North Hunterdon) shot a career-low round of 68 and won the tournament as Monmouth University Men's Golf placed second in the Rolling Green Intercollegiate on Saturday, shooting 287 as a group. Stevens' win is the first of his career, while MU was just two strokes back of tournament champion Rhode Island.
 
Stevens shot a two-under par 68 to win his first career tournament. His career-low score was one better than Villanova's Noah Peck, as the two were the only players in the 76-person field to be under par. Ron Robinson (Hatfield, PA/North Penn) and Brendan Smith (Sayville, NY/Sayville) both carded one-over par 71's, while Travis Dix (Howell, NJ/Howell) posted a 77 for the Hawks. Rob McHugh (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) and Chase Scholze (Stuart, FL/Jensen Beach) rounded out the lineup with a 78 and 79 respectively. The Hawks shot 287 as a team, and finished second, the best result of the season.

-The Hawks team score of 287 is also the best team round of Britton's tenure, and best since MU shot 280 at Villanova on April 9, 2019.
-Brendan Smith's 71 marked his first career top-10 finish.
-Ron Robinson posted his ninth career top-10 finish.
