LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Monmouth University women's tennis team earned a hard-fought win at Rider on Tuesday, 4-3.
 
The Hawks earned the all-important doubles point, with wins at No. 2 (Madison Mills and Lenien Jamir) and No. 3 (Zoe Klapman and Sophia Fredriksson).
 
Klapman also won at No. 3 singles by a score of 6-1, 6-0. Jamir picked up a 6-7, 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles, while Fredriksson clinched the match at No. 6, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4.
 
Monmouth improves to 3-5 (2-2 MAAC) on the season, and will face Siena on the road this Saturday.
