WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ- Monmouth's (3-2) offense was hard to stop and the defense allowed just eight goals in the Hawks' 21-8 win over Quinnipiac (3-3) on Friday.

The Hawks were led by senior
Caroline Bleck who had six goals, with
Allison Turturro right behind her with five. Monmouth scored three goals in the first five minutes before Quinnipiac got on the board with 22:38 to play. MU answered right back with a run of six unanswered markers to give the home team a 9-1 lead with 7:37 remaining in the first half. The Bobcat Liza Bailey had three goals in the final 5:56 to draw her team closer but the Hawks still led 12-5 at halftime.

Monmouth outscored QU 9-3 in the final 30 minutes. Quinnipiac goalie Kat Henselder made 16 saves in net while Monmouth's Steph Delliturri had 10. Six different Hawks tallied multiple points in Monmouth's third win of the year.
