LITTLE SILVER, NJ – Despite winning the doubles point after three wins, the Monmouth University women's tennis team fell to Colgate on Saturday, 5-2.
 
 The Hawks earned wins at No. 1 doubles (sophomore Ann Spurka and junior Nicole Gasser), No. 2 doubles (sophomore Zoe Klapman and senior Sophia Fredriksson), and No. 3 doubles (freshman Madison Mills and senior Chinonye Gabriel).
 
Klapman also picked up a win at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.
 
Monmouth drops to 0-2 on the season, and continue play at La Salle on Saturday.
