WEST ORANGE, NJ – Monmouth University Men's Golf wrapped up its fall schedule this past Monday at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Tournament, finishing fourth in the 10-team field.
Ron Robinson posted his third top-five and fourth top-10 finish in six tournaments this fall, capping a strong stretch for the fifth-year senior.
Robinson shot 72 ahead of a 37 on the nine-hole stretch to finish tied for fourth, while
Erik Stevens was T11 after a 35 on his final nine.
Matt McCormick posted a 10-over par stretch for the tournament, placing T27, while
Colin McCullagh also factored for MU with a 78 to start.
Brendan Smith rounded out the MU lineup, while
Travis Dix played as an individual.
Monmouth finished in fourth place with a total team score of 451, just two shots back of a tie for second between Robert Morris and Fordham. Columbia won the event by 10 shots.
