SCOUTING THE RED FOXES
Marist comes in with the most MAAC wins in the league at 4-2, and 6-2 overall. Ricardo Wright leads the way for the Red Foxes with 12.6 points per game, and Marist allows just under 64 points per contest defensively.

MARIST HEAD COACH JOHN DUNNE
Third year Marist Head Coach John Dunne is no stranger to the MAAC, having spent 12 seasons in Jersey City at the helm of Saint Peter's. He won the 2011 MAAC Final with SPU, and has 25 wins in two plus years in Poughkeepsie.

MONMOUTH AT HOME
The Hawks have a 3-2 home mark this season after winning 11 games at the OceanFirst Bank Center a year ago.

MARIST ON THE ROAD
Marist has a 4-1 mark on the road this year, winning at Binghamton before splitting with Canisius and sweeping Manhattan. 

SERIES NOTES
-Monmouth leads the all-time series 44-22 in a series that dates back to 1962.
-Since joining the MAAC in 2013, Monmouth is 9-3 against the Red Foxes.

APPROACHING 1K AS A PROGRAM
Monmouth currently has 998 total wins as a program, including 467 prior to joining the Division I ranks and 531 since 1983, the Hawks first year in Division I. Bill Boylan, the program's first coach, leads the way with 364 wins, trailed by longtime coaches Dave Calloway (178) and Wayne Szoke (168). King Rice has 151 wins leading the Blue and White, while Ron Kornegay won 129 times at MU. Ron Krayl also has seven wins as head coach following a brief interim stint. 

COUNTING DOWN TO RECORDS FOR HAMMOND
Deion Hammond enters this game with 247 made triples in three-plus seasons, already good for third on the all-time list. He is 10 shy of Justin Robinson's 257, and 13 short of Dave Calloway's program record of 260. Hammond has made over 70 three pointers in each of his first three seasons in the Blue and White. Hammond recently passed Fernando Sanders for ninth on the all-time scoring list. Hammond enters the game with 1,407 career points, 26 shy of Blake Hamilton in seventh on the scoring records.

HAMMOND BREAKS A RECORD

Deion Hammond's first three-point attempt in Sunday's game at Siena made him the program record holder for the most threes attempted in program history. He recently passed Justin Robinson (664 att.) to move into a tie for first before passing Deki Delic, who held the record since he graduated 14 years ago at 667 attempts.
