NOTHING BEATS A WIN

Sometimes fans get caught up in the popularity of college sports and forget that the athletes are young people playing a game they love. After every game I would make my way to the end of the court as the band played the alma mater. The team would always pose in different ways after the games and this is my favorite of these moments. I enjoy being able to capture all types of moments from highly passionate to extreme joy.

MAMBA MENTALITY

January 26, 2020 is a date that will always remain ingrained in my mind. It was the day we learned that Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gianna, and seven other people had tragically passed away in a helicopter accident in Calabasas, California.

The world was on pause. Kobe changed the game of basketball for the better. Tributes were coming in many shapes and forms as games resumed and I had to capture this one.

HIGH-FLYING HAWK

This photo sticks out to me because of the contrast in facial expressions between Hammond and #4 on Marist. Deion is throwing down the dunk with such ferocity and #4 knows he narrowly escaped a poster moment.

RAW EMOTIONS

What makes my photos unique is my eye for capturing the genuine emotions in the moment. Both of these photos came after a big potential three-point play where momentum was on Monmouth’s side. Both Nikkei Rutty and Melik Martin play the game with such passion and I was happy to be able to capture that in these photos.

HEATING UP

I like this photo because it captures the feeling from both Deion Hammond and his teammates on the bench. Deion has the ability to get hot at any moment and the bench was ready to celebrate a made three.
