LITTLE SILVER, NJ – In its first action of the spring, the Monmouth University women's tennis team fell to Merrimack, 6-1.
 
Sophomore Nicole Gasser (Middletown, NJ/Middletown North) earned a win at No. 2 singles by a score of 7-6, 7-6. Gasser also won at No. 1 doubles with teammate Sophia Fredriksson, 6-3.
 
Monmouth drops to 2-7 on the season, and will host Loyola (MD) on Sunday afternoon.
