FAIRFIELD HEAD COACH SYDNEY JOHNSON
Sydney Johnson is in his eighth season at the helm of the Stags after a four-year stretch leading Princeton. He has 180 wins in his career and 114 at Fairfield, leading the Stags to last season's MAAC title game.
HAWKS ON THE ROAD
Monmouth has three road wins, two of them coming in MAAC play and a pair coming in overtime. MU topped Penn in OT and Siena in an extra session before winning a tight one the last time out at Saint Peter's.
FAIRFIELD AT HOME
Fairfield is 3-6 at home and 3-3 in MAAC play but have split their home games between two different facilities this season. Today's game will be played at Webster Bank Arena, where the Stags are 1-3 and most recently lost to Siena in Bridgeport.

MCCLARY'S BEST CAREER GAME
Marcus McClary burst out against Saint Peter's, setting career highs in points with 13, made field goals with five, minutes with 33 and steals with two. The sophomore tied his previous career-mark in the opening half with nine points on a pair of three-point plays and a triple, before knocking down a mid-range jumper and scoring on a steal and breakaway in the second half to finish with 13. McClary has hit his last five three pointers, and is 5-7 for the season from deep.Â
EIGHT MAAC WINS
Monmouth has the the most wins in the MAAC to this point, with MU winning eight times. The Broncs hold the first place lead by percentage points, and played Canisius on Friday night with a chance to tie MU with eight victories.
LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FOUR-GAME WIN STREAK
Monmouth is looking to win its fourth in a row for the second time this season, having won four straight from 1/12 to 1/20 before having that streak snapped with two losses on the Western New York swing. The Hawks rebounded from that to win their last three. Â
LIMITING THE OPPONENT
Monmouth is giving up 59.5 points per game at home against MAAC opponents this season, holding both Saint Peter's and Manhattan under 50 points. Against the Jaspers, MU allowed just two two-point field goals in the opening half. Four of Six MAAC teams to come into the OceanFirst Bank Center have failed to reach 60 points, with only Iona and Rider topping the mark.
