PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Monmouth University men's tennis team completed competition at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) D1 Northeast Regional Championships this weekend.
 
In singles play, sophomore Austin Klapman (San Jose, CA/Glenbrook North) earned a win over Fordham, 6-4, 4-6, 10-7, and junior Charles Gortzounian (Paris, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) earned a comeback 0-6, 6-4, 12-10 win over Boston College.
 
The doubles duo of seniors Max Benaim (London, England/University College School) and Sergio Martinez (Veracruz, Mexico/Bachillerato IEDEP) won 8-2 over Marist.
