LEWISBURG, PA – Monmouth University Men's Golf junior
Ron Robinson (Hatfield, PA/North Penn) took runner-up at the Bucknell Invitational, shooting a two-day score of even par as the Hawks finished eighth as a team for the two-day tournament. Robinson followed up a one-under par 69 on Sunday with a one-over par 71 on Monday to finish even par for the tournament. Robinson has led the Monmouth card in every tournament this season, and now has two second-place finishes in four tournaments.
Freshman
Erik Stevens (Annandale, NJ/North Hunterdon) shot 74 on the first day and was MU's second place finisher, while
Andy Stock (Danbury, CT/Danbury) carded an opening day 73.
Brendan Smith (Sayville, NY/Sayville) shaved off four strokes from his opening round to shoot 74 in the final round, while Matt McCormick made his collegiate debut.
Jimmy Criscione (Paramus, NJ/Bergen Catholic) competed as an individual.
