WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – In two conference matches this weekend, the Monmouth University women's tennis team was defeated by Siena, 7-0, and Fairfield, 6-1. Freshman Chinonye Gabriel earned Monmouth's lone singles win on the weekend, earning the comeback victory against Fairfield at No. 3 by a score of 3-6, 7-6, 11-9. The Hawks dropped to 5-13 (2-5 MAAC) on the season and will face Wagner on Tuesday.
