SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale has wins over California and Miami this season and have won four of their last five coming in. Miye Oni leads Yale at just under 18 points per game, while Jordan Bruner and Alex Copeland average in double digits.

MU VS. THE IVY LEAGUE
-Against current members of the Ivy League, Monmouth is 10-23.
-Yale is the second of three Ivy opponents Monmouth will see this season (Penn, Princeton).
-King Rice is 5-6 against the Ivy, with two wins over Cornell and W's over Princeton, Yale and Penn.
LONG LAYOFF
Monmouth is playing its first game in 12 days dating back to December 8th at Albany. This is the longest time off in season that an MU team has had in the King Rice era, and longest for the program since 2008-09 when MU was off from December 21 vs. Lehigh until January 3 vs. Sacred Heart, a 13-day stretch.
SALNAVE TOPS CAREER BEST TWICE
Ray Salnave topped his career high in points and field goals made twice in Monmouth's last two games. He netted 22 points on eight makes at Hofstra, before scoring 25 on nine makes at Albany. He also tied a career-mark in dishing out seven assists at Hofstra, netting the go-ahead bucket with just over 30 seconds remaining on a stop-and-start drive to the rim.

Monmouth outrebounded its opponent for the fourth time this season in grabbing 40 rebounds to Albany's 27. The 40 boards were MU's most this year, and the 19 offensive caroms for the Hawks were also a season high. The Blue and White were led by seven boards apiece from Traore and Salnave.
